Hungarian-Israeli JV developing communication system for self-driving buses

29 October 2019

Hungarian and Israeli investors are teaming up to develop a communication system that would connect dispatchers with passengers on self-driving buses. The partners are applying for project support from the Hungarian-Israeli Research and Development Fund. Each county has contributed €3m to the fund. The joint venture, WeVid, will be able to use Hungary’s ZalaZone, a newly opened test track for self-driving vehicles.
