The Hungarian oil company MOL has bought the network of Czech PAP Oil stations through acquisition of Bohemia Realty and PAP Oil for an undisclosed price. The two companies operate a network of 124 petrol stations branded as PAP Oil. MOL, which has been present on the Czech market through its subsidiary Slovnaft, thus increases its retail fuel market share from 1 to 5 percent. Slovnaft operates 25 service stations under the Slovnaft brand, representing a 0.7 percent market share. The acquisition of PAP Oil brings the total number of MOL stations to 149, making MOL Group the fifth largest company by number of filling stations.
