Hungarian MOL buys PAP Oil stations

The Hungarian oil company MOL has bought the network of Czech PAP Oil stations through acquisition of Bohemia Realty and PAP Oil for an undisclosed price. The two companies operate a network of 124 petrol stations branded as PAP Oil. MOL, which has been present on the Czech market through its subsidiary Slovnaft, thus increases its retail fuel market share from 1 to 5 percent. Slovnaft operates 25 service stations under the Slovnaft brand, representing a 0.7 percent market share. The acquisition of PAP Oil brings the total number of MOL stations to 149, making MOL Group the fifth largest company by number of filling stations.
