The Hungarian annual budget for 2012 has already reached the 90 percent of the predicted deficit in March according to the Ministry for National Economy. The deficit was HUF 230.9 bn last month, while in 2011 it was only 182.4 bn, though the minister says it’s difficult to make comparison, as many institutions which were under local governments last year are now being run by the state. The ministry revealed that income for the state budget is down HUF 47bn this year.
