The Hungarian real estate industry is becoming more committed to sustainability. One-fourth of modern office buildings in Budapest have BREEAM or LEED certification, while a growing number of older office schemes are introducing new technologies, according to a CBRE report. Almost all new projects offer architectural and environmental management solutions to their future tenants, writes CBRE. In Budapest, 56 buildings, offering about 830,000 sqm of office space, have some kind of sustainability certificate.
