Hungary’s telecommunications service provider company, Hungarian Magyar Telekom is selling its subsidiary Pro-M-Zrt to the state-owned national infocommunications service company, which is responsible for telecommunications infrastructure in the public sector. Pro-M was established in 2005, in order to build out and to operate a Hungarian Unified Digital Radio Network. The total price of the transaction was HUF 19.9 bn, which further improves the capital position of Hungarian Telekom.
