Hungaryʼs unemployment rate fell to 4.1 percent between July and September, from 4.2 percent in the previous three-month period, and 4.9 percent y-o-y, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The average number of unemployed was 189,000, roughly 38,000 fewer than a year earlier. Between July and September, unemployment for men between the ages of 15 and 74 fell by 1.3 percent y-o-y to 3.6 percent, while the unemployment rate for women dropped by 0.3 percent to 4.6 percent, according to KSH.
