Hungarian wages up 3.8%

Wages on the Hungarian market by 3.8 percent y-o-y during the first seven months of the year, according to the Central Statistical Office. During this period, the average gross and net wages at businesses around Hungary were HUF 243,400 and HUF 159,400, respectively, a 3.5-percent increase y-o-y. Salaries have been on the rise across the country for 31 consecutive months, according to the data.
