Hungarigan housing prices up by 11.3% in Q1

House prices in Hungary increased by 11.3 percent y-o-y in the first three months of 2019, the highest growth rate seen in the European Union for the quarter, according to the latest figures from Eurostat. Housing prices in the EU rose by 4 percent in Q1. Housing prices in the Czech Republic increased by 9.4 percent y-o-y, followed closely by Portugal, which saw an average increase of 9.2 percent. By comparison, prices in Italy dropped by 0.8 percent.
