In an effort to improve economic growth and stay competitive, Hungary is working to further develop drone technology, according to Laszlo Palkovics, the country’s minister of innovation and technology. Palkovics said many business sectors are already using such equipment on a daily basis, including agriculture and forest management, logistics, freight and public transport. He added that drones are used to monitor network infrastructure and public services. Opportunities for drone technology is soon expected to surpass €10bn annually in Europe, according to local news reports.
