Hungary’s economy grows 2.3% in Q3 2015

16 November 2015

According to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), the country’s GDP expanded by 2.3 per cent in the third quarter of 2015. However, that represented growth of just 0.5 per cent compared to the second quarter of 2015. The improvement is attributed mainly to the growth of industrial output and trade activity. In order to sustain growth, the government is planning to focus on reforming the labor market to make it more flexible and promoting investment as well as the construction and refurbishment of homes.
