Hungaryʼs state debt reached 74.5 percent of GDP at the end of the second quarter of 2018, according to the latest report published by the National Bank of Hungary. In absolute terms, Hungaryʼs state debt stood at HUF 28.743 trillion at the end of June, up from HUF 27.359 trillion at the end of 2017. Transactions accounted for just over HUF 1 trillion of the increase during the three-month period and revaluations totaled HUF 381bn, according to the central bank.
