Hungary to subsidize Opel training center

The Hungarian division of the General Motors-owned carmaker Opel will receive €507,000 in state funding for its new €1.7m training center in Szentgotthárd. The new center will allow the company to train an additional 50 interns and bump up its teaching staff. The center is scheduled to open this fall. Opel Szentgotthárd Ltd has been producing car engines and components for more than 20 years. The company has placed a strong emphasis on educating its employees.
