Construction broke ground on the expansion of the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre. The refurbishment of the capital’s largest exhibition complex is expected to cost €170m. The Hungarian government is funding the project, which will include a new reception building, congress center and two exhibition halls. Completion is scheduled for 2021.
