Hunt Mortgage Group, headquartered in New York City, has has opened an office in Tampa that will be led by Anne Stewart. Stewart, who has been hired as Director, will focus on originating agency debt, primarily small balance loans under the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Small Balance Loan Programs for clients in the Southeast. Hunt Mortgage Group also offers bridge financing. The company finances all types of commercial real estate, from multifamily properties (including small balance), affordable housing, office, and senior living to retail, manufactured housing, hospitality, industrial, and self-storage facilities. “Our decision to open an office in Tampa is in direct response to the area’s strong market dynamics,” stated Managing Director, Owen Breheny. “A local presence enables us to better serve the growing needs of area developers.”
