Hidroelectrica SA, a national energy production leader, has filed insolvency documentatoin to Bucharest Court. The court set the first hearing for Wednesday, June 20.
Prime Minister Victor Ponta has established a committee to evaluate the economic and financial situation of the company and will propose measures that its hoped will lead to improved activity of the company.
The Committee is composed of Romania’s Finance, Economy, Justice minister, Administration and Interior ministers.
