Hyundai Mobis should sign a contract for the construction of an automobile lights factory at the Mošnov industrial zone by the end of July. The Czech industrial minister Jan Mládek told Czech Television that up to 900 new jobs would be created through the investment, which the city of Ostrava has approved through the sale of 18 ha of land. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2015, with production expected to get underway in 2016. An agreement has already been reached with regional leaders on the construction of the necessary access roads for the new factory.
