IBM expanding in Székesfehérvár

IBM Data Storage System recently won HUF 370m in financial support from the New Széchenyi Plan for HUF in 1.5bn expansion plans in the city of Székesfehérvár in central Hungary. The investment will create an additional 180 new jobs. Zoltán Takács, CEO of IBM Data Storage System LTD said that since 2010 the company has added 450 jobs to the local market. IBM Hungary currently has 1,000 employees. It’s a prestigious accomplishment for the city, as IBM has only eight strategic centers in the world like the one in Székesfehérvár.
