IDI Gazeley plans first industrial construction in Pompano Beach since 2008

15 March 2016

IDI Gazeley has submitted plans to the city of Pompano Beach for an industrial building. The proposed building, the Pompano Business Center, is for a 143,563-square-foot industrial building on a 11.3 acre site located on the northwest corner of West Copans Road and Blount Road. The company bought the land in 2006 for $1.33 million. The company has developed approximately 1.5 million square feet of industrial space over 12 buildings in the area but hasn’t built in Pompano Beach since 2008. “Pompano has always been a good industrial market,” IDI Senior VP Scott Helms said. “It’s in a central part of South Florida, so for a company that wants to distribute to all three counties it’s a good location.”
