IGB Automotive, which has operated in Serbia for 10 years, is planning a new investment of €2m into new equipment at its facility in Indjija. The company intends to install new technology and equipment in order to expand its production of fan motors. In the first phase of the production facility’s improvements, it would have a capacity of one million fan motors per year. Production should start in mid-2018. Ten years ago, the company began operations in rented space, but this developed over time into a new factory built at a cost of €4.5m. The company currently has 7,800 sqm of production and office space. The company is part of the Bauerhin Group, which has invested €16m in Serbia to date.
