IGB Automotive has signed an agreement with the Serbian government and the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion agency to build a new manufacturing plant for car seat heaters, steering wheel heaters and seat occupancy sensors in the town of Indjija. IGB Automotive now employs over 1,500 workers, but the new facility will require another 500 employees. IGB Automotive Serbia is a subsidiary of the German automobile parts supplier I.G.Bauerhin.
