The real estate group Arete has appointed Igor Šnirc to head up its Slovak activities. He’ll be in charge of managing the existing Slovak portfolio of the company’s real estate fund Arete Invest as well as expanding it with new acquisitions. Šnirc completed his education seven years ago at the Economic University of Bratislava, having worked at JLL during his studies in its industrial department. Among the tenants he worked with in that time were Continental AG, Lidl, ABB, Orange and DM Drogerie Markt. He cooperated with major players on the Slovak market during his stint at JLL with Prologis, Goodman, Pointpark, AXA, J&T and Immorent. From 2014, Šnirc worked at the development company Erste Group Immorent Slovensko as Leasing and Business Development Manager.
