Ikea started construction on a logistics center in Elsdorf, 30km west of Cologne. Elsdorf Mayor Andreas Bellmann, along with Johannes Ferber and Claudia Dahlke from Ikea, attended the groundbreaking ceremony. The logistics center will offer approximately 40,000 sqm of space at an investment volume of €60m. Completion is scheduled for this fall. The logistics center will employ 150.
