The furniture retailer IKEA, which operates two stores in the capital, registered in the fiscal year 2022, which covers the period September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022, business of more than RON 1 billion, with 2.5 percent more than the previous year.
Over 4.5 million people visited IKEA stores in Romania, and the online store had over 31.2 million visitors. Fiscal year 2022 also saw growth in online orders, with the company registering a total of over 400,000 orders.
