IMMOFINANZ Group has started construction work on its logistics project LOG.IQ Bucharest. The 140,000 sqm GLA project will provide quick access to the city’s airport and highways along with railway access. The two buildings in the first phase of the project, totalling 40,000 sqm, should complete by the first quarter 2016. Phases 2 and 3 of the project will see the addition of 100,000 square meters of leasable area.
“The logistics market continues to show signs of improvement and we are prepared to meet the new demands of our customers, for both existing properties and build-to-suit properties,” said Sorin Visoianu, Immofinanz’s country manager for Romania and Bulgaria.
The project is located close to Henri Coanda International Airport, 15 km north of downtown Bucharest. The whole infrastructure of the site is completed, including interior streets and utility networks.
