Immofinanz broke ground on its €25m mixed-use project in Düsseldorf. Demolition work has started on the long-vacant Verdi labor union building on Bastionstrasse and Kasernenstrasse. The building will be replaced by Immofinanz’s Carlsquartier scheme, which will offer 2,650 sqm of offices and 700 sqm of retail space. Construction is set for completion by the end of 2016.
