Indotek Group, controlled by businessman Dániel Jellinek, is buying the Băneasa Business Center office building in northern Bucharest from Adval Asset Management. The transaction is estimated at about EUR 15 million, according to real estate market sources.
The building has a leasable area of 9,500 sqm and tenants such as Idea Leasing, Enereco, Hunt Oil, BSH and LG, plus the flexible office operator aSpace, owned by Adval. The building also houses the headquarters of Indotek companies in Romania.
In the summer of 2019, the Hungarian group Indotek entered the Romanian real estate market through the acquisition of the Promenada Târgu Mureș mall, in a transaction estimated at EUR 43 million and the America House office building in the center of Bucharest, bought for about EUR 77 million.
