ING Bank Slaski assumes an increase in interest in loan vacations in the following quarters to 70% – in value terms – reaching 75% in H2 2023, the bank said.
In Q3, credit vacations covered 62% of the PLN mortgage portfolio (in value terms relative to the total portfolio). As of September 30, 2022, the bank assumed in its estimates that in the following quarters customer interest will reach 70% in value terms, reaching 75% in H2 2023, the bank announced.
The bank reported a net loss of PLN 317 million in the third quarter of this year. The reason, it said, was a charge to the bank’s income of PLN 1,632 million resulting from an estimate of the effects of the mortgage moratorium.
