InPost Group delivered 892.1 million parcels in 2023, up 20% year-on-year. In Poland, the volume amounted to 589.5 million parcels (+16%), the company reported. In international markets, volumes amounted to 302.6 million pieces (+28%), including Mondial Relay with 239.9 million parcels (+13%), and in the UK with 46.5 million parcels (up nearly 127% year-on-year).

In Q4 alone, the Group delivered 268.4 million parcels, an increase of 21% year-on-year, including 175.4 million in Poland (+17% year-on-year) and 93 million in international markets (+28% year-on-year).

“The year 2023 was another very good year for the InPost Group, in which we recorded a strong growth of more than 20 per cent in volumes served. We are the undisputed leader in Poland and continue to record growth dynamics above the market and thus increase our market share. Poland is our benchmark for expansion in international markets. We are successfully transferring Polish solutions to foreign markets, so that the international part of the business is also growing as planned,” InPost founder and CEO Rafał Brzoska commented.

“Mondial Relay is on track with our strategic plans, focusing on the development of the B2C segment, where volumes in Q4 2023 increased by 30% y-o-y. We currently have the second largest network of parcel machines in France and the Group’s plan for 2024 is to become number one,” he added.

In the UK, the main objective for 2023 was to solve logistics challenges, which was achieved through the purchase of a stake in Menzies Distributions.

“With the current strong growth in demand, the main objective in the UK is to expand the network as quickly as possible. The plan to increase the number of machines in the UK is already underway. In December last year alone, we set up more than 300 new Parcel Machines there, which was the best monthly result in this market. We want to maintain a similar growth rate in 2024,” the CEO also announced.

At the end of 2023, InPost had 35,449 Paczkomat devices (+27 y/y), including 21,969 in Poland (+14% y/y) and 13,480 units in international markets (+56 y/y).

“Our Parcel Machines in both Poland and international markets performed even better than last year. Some of them achieved utilisation rates of over 300%. This proves that InPost – while remaining the best logistics operator in Poland – is on track to successfully replicate its business model in other countries,” Brzoska concluded.

The number of boxes at the end of last year was 4.412 million (+24 y/y), including 3.263 million in Poland (+12% y/y) and 1.149 million (+76% y/y) in foreign markets.

InPost Group will have 30,615 pick-up points (PUDOs) in 2023, including 3,714 in Poland and 26,901 in other markets.
