InPost has signed an agreement to install Parcel Machines at Repsol stations – a Spanish giant in the sale of petroleum products – throughout Spain, InPost reported.
“We are very proud of the agreement with Repsol. It will allow us to reach rural areas and those far from large urban centres, and will also increase by leaps and bounds the number of Parcel Machines we have in Spain,” InPost group general manager for Spain, Portugal and Italy Nicola D’Elia said..
InPost has more than 5,000 PUDO points and Paczkomat machines in Spain and will now expand its reach by leaps and bounds thanks to the agreement with Repsol. It thus has the largest network of its own delivery and collection points in the country. The company now has more than 50,000 PUDOs in the nine or so countries in which it operates, making InPost the largest hybrid OOH delivery point network in Europe, it stressed.
“Thanks to InPost’s Paczkomat devices, the number of users using the station’s services who come to collect their orders is growing. Many of them generate cross-sales – meaning that they buy other products on occasion. This will help the Repsol network to position our stations as a place where you can find a wide range of products and, on occasion, pick up or send parcels,” Alicia Cruzado from Repsol explained.
