InPost will launch another logistics center in the Accolade Industrial Park in Goleniów near Szczecin, the company said. Thus, the InPost infrastructure grows to over 60 logistics centers.
“We have the most modern and largest logistics base in Poland, which serves the largest network of parcel machines in Europe. Also this year, we are continuing to invest in new logistics centers and dynamically expanding our geographic reach,” said CEO Rafał Brzoska.
The industrial park in Goleniów is located in an area with a unique development potential, in a rapidly developing special economic zone and with the availability of highly educated staff.
“The region with a close connection to the German and Scandinavian border offers not only an excellent strategic location for business. The entire area of Szczecin is an important research and development center with 25 universities, educating 45,000 students. The city is a significant European logistics hub, directly connected to Poland and German road, rail and air infrastructure, with three international airports, one in Szczecin and two in Berlin, available within 1.5-2 hours by car,” added Country Head at Accolade Poland Michał Białas.
In July, InPost reported that the number of its parcel machines exceeded 13,000.
InPost is the largest logistics operator in Poland, in which American investment funds Advent International and KKR have invested. The company offers courier services and deliveries via the nationwide InPost parcel locker network for individual and institutional customers, including comprehensive services dedicated to the e-commerce industry. The number of InPost parcel lockers exceeded 10,770 devices at the end of 2020. In January 2021, InPost debuted on the Euronext Amsterdam exchange.
