InPost has introduced anti-smog cobblestones at all newly erected parcel lockers in partner cities of the Green City program – Sopot, Rzeszów, Łódź, Kraków, Kielce, Wałbrzych, Częstochowa and Zielona Góra. By the end of the year, the program will cover several dozen cities in Poland, the company said.

“The ‘Green City’ program is part of the long-term InPost strategy, covering a wide range of innovations and ecological initiatives. The program also provides for the development of a number of modern services for residents, such as electric chargers at InPost parcel lockers, development of environmentally friendly transport and planting of purifying vegetation. In addition, in our partner cities, we intend to gradually replace our delivery fleet with electric cars.

The anti-smog block has unique properties that purify the air of harmful compounds. The active concrete surface with air-purifying properties of pollutants (nitrogen oxides NOx) is the result of an innovative formula of a concrete mix based on a special cement with ECO properties, emphasized.

InPost is the largest logistics operator in Poland, in which American investment funds Advent International and KKR have invested. The company offers courier services and deliveries via the nationwide InPost parcel locker network for individual and institutional customers, including comprehensive services dedicated to the e-commerce industry. The number of InPost parcel lockers exceeded 10,770 devices at the end of 2020. In January 2021, InPost debuted on the Euronext Amsterdam exchange.
