Instone Real Estate Leipzig broke ground on a residential project in Leipzig’s Gohlis neighborhood. Heeresbäckerei is going up on a plot that used to house the General Olbricht barracks. The property will feature 245 renovated apartments as well as 102 newly built units. The first phase of the project will included the construction of 288 parking spots. Completion is scheduled for 2019. Leipzig was recently named the second most promising city in Germany, according to a survey by the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) and Privatbank Berenberg.
