Intercora to build bus terminal with shops in Banska Bystrica

29 October 2015

Intercora is planning to build a new bus station with a supermarket and a retail park in Banska Bystrica. The complex, to be called Terminal, will offer 6,800 sqm of retail space, and the developer claims that more than 50 percent has already been leased to a mix of brands typical for retail parks, including drogerie DM, Deichmann, Takko, Kik, Sportissimo, Dráčik and Planeo elektro. Project costs are expected to run to €17-18m and completion is scheduled for next fall. Intercora is still waiting for a construction permit, but has already started clearing the area. Terminal will be connected by a covered footpath to the adjacent railway station.
