The investment consultancy Partners is planning to launch a retail real estate investment fund that would target retail investors interested in entering the residential market. Partners will invest an initial CZK 100m and would handle acquisitions and asset management of the portfolio. E-15 quotes Petr Borkovec, co-owner of Partners, who says the investment product should be useful for people who lack the market knowledge to buy and maintain their own portfolio. Other companies in Prague are also beginning to offer residential property investment opportunities. Central Group is preparing a new rental development with units suitable for retail investors, while Pražská správa nemovitostí offers rented flats up for sale.
