International Sinaia hotel, owned by the local hotel group International SA, has reopened following a nine-month, €6m renovation.
The hotel, accessible from the DN 1 motorway, includes 180 rooms, a conference center with 11 meeting rooms, three restaurants, a spa area and an entertainment zone. International SA plans to open two new hotels in February: one in Bucharest and the other in the city of Iasi.
The Bucharest hotel will have 70 rooms, while the hotel in Iasi will have 170 rooms. According to company representatives, the hotel in Bucharest will cater mainly to business travelers.
International Company SA’s regional portfolio includes International Sinaia, Bistrita Villa, Stejarul Villa, Frasin Villa, and the Izvorul Rece motels and campgrounds.
