Intersnack, one of the largest salted snacks players on market, is planning a new acquisition less than two years after buying the Nutline brand from Alka.
Initially the company had just the Chio brand, which includes potato chips and baked goods. In 2006 the company acquired the company Flipper, with the Felix and Fiesta brands and four years later added the Nutline portfolio, significantly increasing the turnover of the company. Intersnak representatives would not reveal which brands it planned to purchase in the future.
The German group first entered the local market in 1994.
