Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania has merged with CR Firenze. The new entity will be called Intesa Sanpaolo Romania and offer services to retail, SME and corporate customers.
Following the merger, the first on the local market in the past five years, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank will retain its name on the local market and continue to operate through a network of 90 regional branches, according to the news server BankNews.ro.
Intesa Sanpaolo Bank currently has approximately 1,000 employees and assets of more than RON 5bn
Intesa Sanpaolo Romania is part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, which was founded in Italy.
