The Flats 8300, a 359-unit high-rise residential property with ground-floor retail in Bethesda, Md. has been purchased by Invesco Real Estate. Completed last month, the property is located at 8300 Wisconsin Ave. along the Metrorail Red Line just south of the National Institute of Health and Walter Reed campuses. The scheme includes a mix of studio to three-bedroom floor plans along with townhouse and penthouse options. The retail space is occupied by a Harris Teeter grocery store with a Starbucks. HFF marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a joint venture between StonebridgeCarras and an affiliate of Walton Street Capital. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
