Turkish-Romanian businessman Metin Doğan is investing over EUR 60 million in the development of the largest golf resort in Romania, the National Golf & Country Club, the first stage of the project to be completed in 2023. Construction work for the National Golf & Country Club began in 2022.
Located half an hour away from the north of Bucharest, in Niclești commune in Dâmbovița county, the National Golf & Country Club will include the largest golf course in Bucharest and its surroundings, a country club and a 5-star residential complex, as well as facilities exclusive, all on an area of 72 hectares.
The resort is expected to be fully completed by 2025, when it will reach 170 villas in the residential complex, all overlooking the golf course and the 6 hectares of artificial lakes, it will also include an aparthotel, a luxury SPA, restaurants, event halls, swimming pools, sports fields and playgrounds for children. All buildings inside the resort will be equipped with solar panels.
