An expert council for space planning discussed a conceptual project to build a multipurpose project called Arena Durostorum in the Bulgarian port town of Silistra. The architectural design calls for the construction of two new sports halls, three restaurants, an outdoor arena, ice rink, and beach volleyball court.
The first presentation of the project took place in in September 2015. Once the council approves the scheme, a detailed design will be carried out and the investor will have to apply for construction permits.
