The number of new projects delivered in the third quarter 2014 totaled 102,100 sqm, pushing the supply of developer-led industrial stock in the Czech Republic to 4,773,400 sqm, writes the Industrial Research Forum in its Q3 2014 Industrial Market Report. For the first three quarters of 2014, new supply reached almost 271,200 sqm, up 17 percent from the same period last year and 58 percent higher than in 2012. The market continues to be driven by non-speculative construction, although the number of speculatively built projects is increasing. Out of all projects delivered between January and October, approximately 77 percent were leased prior to completion. The Industrial Research Forum is forecasting that new deliveries will surpass 300,000 sqm this year, setting a new supply record for the post-crisis years.
