Iuris planning Bratislava shopping center

5 January 2015

Iuris is planning to build a new shopping center in Bratislava at the corner of Tomášikova and Trnavská streets. The project is currently going through the environmental assessment (EIA) process. The shopping center will offer 2,000 sqm of retail space and parking for 130 cars. Iuris hopes to attract food and fashion retailers. The building site is located opposite a Fresh Market and next to the Kuchajda leisure area. Costs are expected to run to €1.5m. Trend Reality writes that Iuris has owned the plot for years and tried to sell it in the past. The area is zoned for commercial development but faces competition from similar projects in the surrounding area, such as Kaufland, the Polus shopping center and the Lakeside office project.
