RMS Mezzanine, which the server e15 claims is closely linked to the Slovak financial group J&T, is to invest into the reconstruction of the Plat hotel complex in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The group will be expanding what will eventually be a 650 room hotel complex. RMS’s entry into the Croatian holiday sector has been carried out through the state-owned Nexus fund, according to hnonline.sk. The investment is expected to total €55.5m. Construction is being co-financed by the Croatian group Karisma and TUI Travel, a German tourism specialist. Reconstruction is scheduled for completion next year. RMS Mezzanine is currently looking for further projects in Croatia with the Nexus fund, which could provide as much as €80m.
