22 September 2015

J&T has increased its stake in Croatia’s Vaba Varaždin bank by 20 percent. With CZK 650m invested, the Czech-Slovak financial group now controls 77 percent of the bank’s holding. J&T spokeswoman Monika Veselá says that the group poured an additional CZK 65m into the bank in an effort to support further growth. She also said that J&T is looking for more opportunities on the Croatian market. J&T acquired a 58-percent stake in Vaba bank last year. The Nexus fund, through RMS Mezzanine, also has stake in the Croatian bank.
