J&T makes changes to final phase of Westend

18 December 2014

J&T has made last-minute design changes to the final phase of its Westend Business Park in Bratislava’s Patrónka district. While the developer wants to start construction next year, it is still waiting for approval from city officials, writes Trend Reality.

The last building of the project, to be called Westend Plaza, will be located between the 17-story Westend Square and Westend Gate. It will replace Westend Point, a five-story, 6,000 sqm office building that was refurbished in 1996. J&T changed the design of Westend Plaza. The new project will include six floors instead of seven and the leasable office area has been reduced from 22,000 sqm to 19,000 sqm. Retail and service space has also been cut to 2,000 sqm from 6,000 sqm. Westend Business Park will offer a total of 86,000 sqm of office, 5,000 sqm of retail space and underground parking when completed.
