J&T has launched construction of Rustonka, an office project located at the Invalidovna metro station in Prague 8 – Karlín. The project includes four office buildings, the first of which, an 11,000 sqm building, is now under construction. J&T’s sales director Martin Kodeš says the project’s first three building represent an investment of around CZK 1.3bn. JLL has been appointed to lease the buildings. Negotiations are currently underway, says Kodeš, with two tenants that need 11,000 and 8,000 sqm, but these could be placed in the second and third buildings. J&T, which has planning consent for the first three buildings, intends to start construction on the second building within roughly six months. The fourth building is being planned as a BTS project for a tenant that’s related to the J&T financial group. Building one should be completed in the first quarter of 2017.
