J&T Real Estate, which recently unveiled vast development plans for the Bratislava city center, is working on a series of new tram routes for the capital. The new tracks will total 4.2 km and cost €60m. The new tram routes will run from the Old Bridge along Eurovea and Košická streets to the Ružinov thoroughfare as well as from Starý Most to Nové Lido in the city’s Petržalka district. The developer said it would build the tram tracks even if the city does not award it with the status of significant investment, according to Trend Reality. J&T’s development plans include building Eurovea 2 and Klingerka and completing Panorama Business and Nové Lido. The developer intends to connect these projects with Zuckermandel and River Park in a wider concept called Spojená Bratislava (Connected Bratislava). Investment costs total €1.2bn.
