Jaguar Land Rover plant in Nitra is attracting further investors into the industrial zone Nitra – Sever. A US based manufacturer of plastic car parts will move into the zone and create 300 new jobs. It will start production earlier than Jaguar Land Rover, which plans to produce the first car in 2018. Ondrej Ščurka, CEO of Nitra Invest, which owns 80 hectares of land in Nitra Sever zone, refused to disclose the name of the supplier before signing the contract. An Asian company will also move into the zone to produce robots for the automotive industry. This company will create only ten jobs for highly trained professionals. It will be based in a 830 sqm building in the Dobrotka business area next to the zone that is scheduled for completion in March 2017.
