The Croatian beverages producer Jamnica plus is installing an automated system for handling customer orders through an HRK 3.5m investment in its logistics and distribution center in Jastrebarsko. Automation and robotization have simplified its operations and reduced the risk of stopping business processes. The company found it necessary to carry out the investment because of the huge increase in demand it typically gets in the hotter summer months.
The increased workload puts extra pressure on its staff and increases the need for reliable delivery. The new ordering system was developed in collaboration with its partner Demateh, with prototype testing having been conducted in Switzerland.
