The number of building permits issued for residential buildings decreased by 0.3 percent in January 2022, compared to the same month last year, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics.
Thus, in January 2022, 2,550 building permits were issued for residential buildings (-0.3 percent), with a total usable area of 602,291 sqm (-8.4 percent). Of the total building permits for residential buildings, 66.7 percent are for rural areas.
In January 2022, 393 building permits were issued for non-residential buildings (+ 2.9 percent), with a total usable area of 246,569 sqm (-13.4 percent).
